Net x IoT CTF was a combined event by the IoT and Network clusters, where participants took on a Capture The Flag challenge. Flags were hidden across the challenges, and participants were given encrypted codes that they had to decode and analyze to uncover them.

Participants played forensic investigators in a murder mystery set in an IoT-automated lab, where they analyzed sensor logs from RFID, MQ gas, and LDR devices along with a crime story. By piecing together the data trail, they had to deduce who the murderer was.

Annual technology summit for students

Students joined a scavenger hunt where they searched the building for hidden, torn cheat-sheet pieces, then pieced them together to decrypt the passcode. The passcode unlocked a drive containing circuit connections and code for IoT projects.
