In this fourth insightful session, Shri Hariprasad Rengarajan M.S., Senior Product Manager - AI at Nextiva, provided an in-depth exploration of AI-powered voice technologies. The session covered key aspects of speech recognition, voice automation, and the integration of AI in modern communication systems.Attendees gained valuable insights into the real-world applications of AI in voice, the challenges in speech processing, and the latest advancements in smart automation.

Mr. Riyaz Feroze, DCSI member and ISACA Riyadh Chapter Head, delivered an insightful session on cybersecurity. He shared his expertise in risk management, governance, and compliance, inspiring attendees with real-world knowledge and experience.

The event offered valuable insights into Fortinet's history, products, and certifications. With solutions like FortiGate and FortiEDR, Fortinet focuses on cybersecurity. Their academic partnership with our college includes free certification courses for students.

The STEAM Hackathon 2025 at SASTRA University fostered innovation in STEAM education for children aged 8–15, including specially-abled students. Through AR, VR, and interactive tools, it promoted inclusivity, creativity, and tech-driven learning.

In the third CSI event, Mervinth, a third-year CSE Cyber Security & Blockchain Technology student, gave a detailed guide on IELTS. The session covered the structure of the exam, including Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Participants gained useful preparation tips, common mistakes to avoid and helpful resources. A speaking exercise demo and time management advice were also included. The interactive format allowed students to ask questions, making it a valuable session for IELTS aspirants.

The TEDx event, led by Ariram Shanmuganathan, explored cloud tech and MBSE. Talks by Abhilash Kumar Nair and Jessica Perdius highlighted scalable cloud solutions and HR's role in tech innovation, inspiring a multidisciplinary view of the future.

The second CSI event featured an in-depth session on Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPTs) by Dr. Elakkiya R. The session explored the fundamentals of GANs, their role in AI-driven content generation, and their real-world applications in image synthesis and data augmentation. Dr. Elakkiya also provided insights into GPT models, explaining their architecture and significance in Natural Language Processing (NLP). The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where students discussed potential research opportunities and industrial applications of these technologies.

The first CSI meet commenced with an insightful introduction by Dr. Umamakeswari (AUM), who provided an overview of the Computer Society of India (CSI). The session covered the mission and objectives of CSI, highlighting its role in fostering technological growth and innovation among students. Following this, Shanthi Ma'am further elaborated on CSI's initiatives, including various workshops, seminars, and competitions planned for the academic year. The session encouraged students to actively participate in CSI events, promoting a collaborative learning environment.

The tech talk on 'Snowflake Gen AI: Powering Innovation' by Mr. Vivekanandan Srinivasan highlighted how generative AI and tools like Snowflake Cortex enable smarter data analytics, secure governance, and innovation using large language models.

The 'Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence' event showcased how IoT and AI are transforming industries. Dr. M. Sabarimalai Manikandan's keynote highlighted AI-driven health systems, challenges in scalability and security, and inspired tech-driven innovation.
